Sumo

We take a trip to Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan. Watch as I document sumo matches from the lower ranks all the way up to the makuuchi level. We catch a glimpse of Asashoryu doing his yokozuna dance, and see a couple of vicious and too close to call bouts. Sit back and enjoy this sacred and entertaining competition called sumo.

Hey Owen.
Great video. I've been meaning to go to Sumo for about six months since I've been here.
I only find out about in the last few days of the tournament when it's about to finish and impossible to get tickets for.
When is it next in Tokyo?

I enjoyed the other videos too and will be coming back for more!

I found your blog from http://www.japansoc.com/

Hey Jon,

There is an Autumn Basho in Tokyo at the Ryogoku Kokugikan between September 14 - 28. It should get interesting considering the recent flairups between the top yokozunas Asashoryu and Hakuho.
